Inspiration

Let me start off by apologizing for not writing a post in so long. I’ve had trouble finding the inspiration for a good post so I thought I would wait for the right time. Luckily I have finally found it. Just so happens my inspiration lies in two very unique and stirring events.
First is the most recent one, at a dub/reggae/world/bass/conscious show over the weekend. Two painters used the inspiration in the music to construct unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. The music was great and from the soul. But watching all of these artists feed off each other for inspiration was the better show.
The next story of inspiration is a wine bottling and distributing company in Los Olivos, Ca. Artiste works with independent artists that create paintings. They then create a wine based around the taste of what they think the painting should taste like. They were extremely nice people and MBaguette even shot the lock off his wallet to buy their first and only champagne creation. I wonder if the staff over at Artiste would be upset to learn that he made mimosas with it.
Inspiration is a weird thing. Everyone thinks of something different when they hear the word. What do you think? Maybe it’s your kids, or a friend surviving cancer. Sometimes it’s not as clear as painting from music and creating wines from paintings, but your homework is to just think about it. Inspiration can be found anywhere but where is it the strongest? And by the way baguette homework isn’t like other HW. You don’t have to write it down or show it to anyone, no one is judging you.
